First Response claims they can tell a few days before your missed period, and it worked for me...I recommend that one. Easy to use and read too, just be sure to read and follow all the directions.

Pregnancy tests are easy to use. You basically open the package pull of the cap and pee on the strip or pee in a cup and dip the strip in for 5 seconds then pull it out put the cap back on. Lay it on the table (horizontally not upright or anything).....then you wait about 5 mins and POOF. You have results. Sometimes when pregnant it will show results quick. But wait the full 5 mins to be sure. I used EPT although First Response is good aswell. They will always have instructions inside the box with pictures aswell so you get to see what it would look like if you are/arent pregnant. I believe it is on line if not pregnant 2 if you are pregnant. Though some tests are different. Either way make sure you read the instructions on the inside. Some tests provide a 2 for 1 or buy 2 get 1 free deal just incase you are not sure. Considering you are a few days late I would say you are pregnant but just to be sure go out and get a test.

They vary-- from cheap to expensive. From lines to digital. Both times with my pregnancies I got the cheap brand Equate from Wal-Mart for $4-5 and they have two little circles on it. If you get a vertical and a horizontal line, it's positive. If you get to horizontals it negative. That easy!! And for me they worked just fine and came back positive the very day that I was late! One suggestion I have though----pee in a clean disposable cup and then dip the stick. Trying to pee on the stick and not get it on the circles or on yourself, or anywhere else is just too difficult. Pee in the cup, hold the stick in the pee for 10 secs and then put the lid on and lay it flat. Good luck!

Any of the newer stick models. When I was having my first daughter I used one that had you pee in a cup and add a solution, then dip a test stick in it. Clear Blue Easy, First Response, or any no name brand that looks like it should work.

You can use just about any kind...even store brands. ALTHOUGH-I have read that the Dollar General, Dollar Tree (the dollar store-where everything's a dollar) have a higher rate of false results.

Good Luck. I hope it works out the way you want it to!
