I have one cat that will open a sliding screen door to get outside, but strangly enough he will no open the door to get back inside, he will just sit and stare at it until someone opens the door. It wouldn't be as annoying as it is if he would learn to close the door behind him when he leaves.

Yes one of my dogs can open the cabinets in the kitchen.
The cat can do that also but mostly goes for hte end table drawer where her toys are.
One dog I used to have could open the back door of the house.

My dog can open all the doors- turning knobs and all and can also turn on the faucet in the bathtub. Very smart but it's a pain in the butt! She just does a jump, swipe thing with her paws at the door knob- sometimes she has to do it a few times, but she always gets it. The faucet she turns on with her mouth.

Yeah, my dog opens doors. He barks until I open the door for him. Otherwise, he's stuck. It's the whole lack of thumbs thing.

HA HA HA HA HA Great Q!!!!
I have a small Chi, so there isnt much that she does by means of tricks to open doors.... sometimes she sits and stares at them trying to figure out how to do it (i think anyway) which is amusing =)

I once had a cat who could turn door knobs. Didn't believe it until I saw him do it. He used both of his front paws to do it. He sat on the clothes dryer next to the door knob so that he could reach.

definite, I even have (2) cats and considered one of them likes the doors open. If i close them, she is going precise away and tries to open them. I consistently close the basement door for risk-free practices motives and specifically cases, contained in the direction of the evening, she bangs on it and tries to open it. So enable me inform you that she extraordinarily much gave me a coronary heart attack some cases. have been given to love them... :)

One of my dogs can open the cabinet that the cookies are in. Had to put a child lock on it. He could head butt it and it popped right open.
