La Carlota is one of the cities of Negros Occidental which is part of the Panay Islands of the Philippines (I think...?)
I have been there once.....in 1988. We took a bus from Bacolod City going to La Carlota City.
It is a beautiful place! Hectares and hectares of Sugar Cane fields, old and majestic rustic mansions, vintage cars aplenty, nostalgic haciendas and plantations, friendly and hospitable folks, lots of merry-making during town fiestas.......oohhhh!!!
I miss La Carlota City.
The birthplace of my maternal grandmother..........
