I think I'm with the prevailing opinion here. Federer in 4 sets. Blake's surprisingly easy match yesterday will help somewhat, but I think Roger is just too good.

Blake has never even taken a set from Federer in their four matches, including two this year. I know that Blake is playing well right now, but it would take his absolute best performance and an off-night from Federer for him to have any chance.

I'll take Federer, in straight sets. I like Blake, but he's not on the same level as Federer, especially in a Grand Slam on a hardcourt surface.

Federer. The fact that Blake hasn't ever won a set off Federer, I think Federer clearly has the advantage. Blake might take a set off of Federer, but he'll have to work hard to do any more damage. We'll see.

It's time an american takes back the US Open trophy. Blake in straights, baby. Blake's backhand is better than it's ever been. You gotta believe.

Obviously,Federer. He is no.1 and it's difficult to beat him unless it's your birthday. you always win when its you birthday. it happened with Safin. he defeated federer on his birthday in the Australian Open final.
