warewhatwhywhich- yes, I think it is worthwhile. Schools need all the help they can get, and it gives me satisfaction to know I am helping in anyway I can.

I used to. Even after my kids were older there was an Elementary school in my area that was glad to get them. I taped them onto sheets of paper in sets of 20 or so, then when I had quite a few I just mailed them to the school. Each one is worth $0.10 to participating schools.

My daughter starts kindergarten today, and I've just recently started doing this for her school. Do you think it's an effective school fund-raiser?
