HP a1250n does not stay in hibernate mode - how can I get it to stay asleep?

Our HP a1250n, purchased Dec 05, works relatively well, but when put into hibernate mode (not standby), it wakes itself up at random times -- pretty much each morning when I get up and each evening, when I come home from work, it's turned itself back on. Is this a BIOS problem? Ideas?

You should be still covered by the warranty ...call the hp 800 # and tell them the problem and they should be giving you direction you need to solve problem.
