I dunno about a banana i have two oscars myself might have to try it. But I feed mine earth worms, and spagetti...lol

Why on earth would you wanna feed them bananas they are probably on of the most predatory species. They do well on processed fish food supplemented with meal worm and other little bugs. You can also drop in the occasional guppy or other small fish. (Please don't even consider this if you are squeamish)

And you claim to have been a hobbyist for years in previous emails to me - is that right? You sound like you have maybe been doing this for about 2 months (if that).

Their diet is a Carnivorous one - not even Omnivorous.

Messy but yeah, they eat banana. try kiwi . They eat most food. raw chicken is good

Probably not a good idea to feed him bananas, but you could try fresh shelled peas or lettuce. They like green leafy veggies. :)

They can but it is not a good idea.Your tank will get messy.
