I have this friend and she looks alright
Except if you see her before she cakes on two pounds of make-up. Then she looks like a crack head.

No, not really - I think make up on men is rather effeminate and I am a fan of 'vive le difference'!! I don't like it when men dye their hair either. I do like a chap to take care of himself though, clean and shaved, a bit of moisturiser is OK and even a manicure/pedicure as long as it doesn't involve polish of any sort. Also, I can't stand very heavy make up on women either - it should enhance subtly, not hide what you actually look like.

I wouldn't mind it. I wouldn't think anything less of them. I'm a transwoman and bi. Back when I was completely physically male I had used make-up and it really helped improved my skin and actually made my facial hair look more even instead of patchy. It can be a big help. I know some of the make-up companies have products specifically for men.

Well...for everyday guys who go to work, sports, dinner, then come home I would not suggest makeup. I would suggest facial cleansers and moisturizers which can enhance the way a man's skin looks and feel but not makeup.

But if a guy were going somewhere with pictures being taken or something like that then a little makeup might come off better.

Absolutely not. And women should only wear a little makeup to enhance an asset -- like their eyes or their lips.

Not unless you are gay, I like a man to look rugged and I hate after shave. A man in a white t-shirt and a pair of jeans does it for me - forget the make-up.

No, I think women should give it up, too. I always said that I'll wear makeup when men do... but unfortunately, that seems to be backfiring.

i would say that i find some men attractive when they wear black eyeliner and black nailvarnish....sexy as hell....the goth/metal/alternative look does it for me but no, would not find men attractive if they went around wearing subtle make up...it's right tho that women can look TOTALLY DIFFERENT with slap on, i would say that on the whole men are the most attractive of the species...that actually spans thru MOST living things when u think about it....peacocks, lions, etc etc LARRIE AND BARBIE...THAT RULES!!

Don't even think about it! I understand that male models wear make up but when all is said and done...who wants to watch their boyfriend find the right shade of blush, or lipstick even!

oh god no , make-up is for women and men should just be their natural self . even though some women do not make-up either , and unless the guy is working on anything that involves working for the t.v. industry , but either than that , i say no, no , !

Well if I don't wear makeup (save on really special occassions), I see no reason to make the guys wear it.
