Not my own view, but do feel that we have lost freedom of speech in this country,

I feel strongly about this subject. The PC and Human Rights mob have converted this country from an open and meaningful one for all citizens to a show for minorities. I don't care if you are Gay. Why should a White middle class devout Christian be arrested for a leaflet? He believes in what it said. Are we now under this PC police state not to have minds of our own. Freedom of speech has gone unless you are a member of a minority group or a Muslim preacher. Blair has left a legacy of hate and confusion in this country helped on by his devotion to the Human Rights law to make his wife rich.

If your religion states that homosexuality is a sin then i feel that this should be kept to yourself unless someone specifically asks if you agree or disagree. It's the old saying 'it's not what you say it's the way you say it'

If someone asks you say you don't agree withe homosexuality you should say that you don't and explain that your religion has taught you it is wrong. Seems simple to do but probably isn't.

I do however agree with you about the freedom of speech thing. I never agreed that we ever had such a thing as you can get arrested these days for anything you say that a policeman doesn't like. And then they lie and get you the jail.

We have only lost freedom of speech if the Government fines you for what you say. If the speech is unpopular with the masses, then you or I will be booed, hisses, jeered. That is how it works. You have the right to say what you want. I have the right to say you are nuts. Specifically to this, those who feel that their religion calls it a sin, are the same ones who insist that we all call it a sin or God will judge us for it. Now, that is oppression.

Sure you can feel it's a sin--for YOU. YOUR religion may think this way, however there are many other sins as well that aren't used politically to scapegoat people--many of the politicians who target gays commit adultery and most of us take God's name in vein regularly, these are part of the Ten Commandments, not just part of the Bible written by men. Also, there are many sins in the bible that aren't well known but are thought of as archaic and no longer valid in this day and age (funny how people pick and choose what benefits them personally).
So, no you can think it is a sin all you want (for you), just don't ask others to believe the same way...

Perhaps conditions make it very difficult to discuss this subject as views are often judged and condemed by those who disagree with you. I think the line of some Churches is that the sin is the act of homosexuality, but that God still loves the sinner. My issue is that churches often accuse gay people of being promiscuos, yet they still object when homosexual couples choose to spend their life together. If two people love each other and want to be together I can see no harm in this providing they are consenting adults.

Everyone is entitled 2 freedom of speach.. but if u one day found urself attracted 2 tha same sex and wanted 2 take it further.. wuld u then still have this same question 2 ask? U have jus one chance at life, one chance of happiness and one chance of findin ur real true love.. I think people shuld stop judging and thinkin people shuld live a certain way and not do certain things! We are all free 2 live a life we chose.. not a life someone else chooses 4 us! People shuld live their lives and b happy ~ not b concerned what other people choose 2 do wiv theirs!

Because their sensitive and you offend their poor wittle homo hearts.Hey I know they don't approve of the fact I am a heterosexual male and gay people have every right to say so.But you know why you will never see the anti-heterosexual parade, because like it or not it takes us to make them.Even nature tells us this behavior is wrong cause there are no ways of natural procreation so the species would die out.God doesn't make mistakes. The devil however can distort mind of the weak into thinking he or she is gay. It's sad but never-the-less very true.So if you think it's wrong say it you may even persecuted but God says his true believers will go through trials and tribulations for their faith.

One has the right to say it and I'll help fight off the SOB who tells them that they can't! Never let big brother tell you what you can and can't say and never select being pc over what you think is right!

Of course, I have a right to say that such people are wrong and that I think that they are idiots. I have the right to think that if a religion thinks that it is somehow getting more in touch with the big guy upstairs by ripping on a lifestyle that on the average one in 10 in their congregation has atleast experimented with is pretty sad.

And when I exercise my right and you better come to my defense, or we then live in a country as bad as the one you rail against.

Because you have no right to impose your views on others who don't believe you. Why be provocative? Do you get some pleasure out of it? Isn't there something in your religion that says provoking others is a sin?
Live and let live pal. Its the only way.

It's not wrong. But those who are offended go so far as to make it an actual 'Federal Case' if someone says it. Whether you agree with the statement or not people have the RIGHT to say it- just as a white supremacist has the right to speak in the public square. I don't agree with their views and while they have the right to say what they want..... I don't HAVE to listen!
Have a great day!!!
