Just like off line "gangs" internet gangs like to show off their"skillz" too and they get a kick out of doing it and making you wonder just who they are.I'm not a hacker btw, I just learn a little about somethings, mostly by books/ sites available to anyone(some are"booby trapped" though0_0 to keep n00b out)

They have some psychological issue:
~ The feeling of they are somebody.
~ The feeling of they can do codes that can boot you out, or mess up your PC.
~ But regardless, hacker make us aware of the power of computers... [Information Technology] good or bad ...

Not really, they enjoy thinking about it while plotting and making their evil programs that attack our computers but most of them never hear about them actually screwing up our computers so their miserable little lives go unfulfilled.
That is the only good thing, they really cant get the satisfaction of knowing it got anyone.
