A real friend is someone who excepts you for who you are, who will give an honest answer when asked. Someone who is honest enough to tell you when you might be doing something that isn't in your best interest. Someone who will really be there, not just during the good times, but during the bad times, when you truly need their support.

Whom I thought was my bestest friend, my wife, really wasn't. She betrayed me by leaving me after 13 years while I was at work. I never yelled at her nor did I beat her or call her names. I have been a good provider. My only fault is neglect, not paying enough attention to her. I think I should have deserved a sit down talk first.
Best Friend? My Mom put it best, God bless her soul: Your best friend is your dollar bill, you ain't got one, you ain't got no friends.
Your best friend, eats s h i t and chases a rabbit, ( a dog), ain't got one of them you ain't got no friend.
My Mom was from the Southeast. All whom I have trusted in my life have sooner or later have betrayed me.
Have "friends" but always beware, you could be hurt and the closer and more trusting you are of a "friend" the more hurt and pain you will endure when friendship goes sour.

well to be honest with you I've had so many back stabbers in my life i lost count. But i have one true friend whom i have known now for 10 yrs shes always there for me thick and thin, through the bad times and good times, through the laughter and cries, she doesn't judge me no matter what and most of all shes upfront and honest with me about anything even if she thinks i won't want to hear the truth. To me that is qualities a good friend should posses even though these days its hard to tell your friends from your enemies.

a Real friend will not turn her/his back on you - a Real friend will tell you the truth mo matter what - a True friend never say no - a True friend cares about you - A Real Friend won't hide your bad behavior she/he will try to help you change in your weaknesses and a Real friend will listen to you always..

a friend used to be someone who was by your side through thick & thin. but in this day and time i just don't think there is such a thing !
