Does it seem like no matter how soft-spoken parents may be, children can only speak in the loudest decibel?

I think it's kind of funny how you can usually only hear one side of the conversation (or argument)...the child's!

My 4 year old daughter breaks glass.
I love her but somethimes I go wonky listening to her as she can't say anything without yelling it!

My Grandchildren speak very loud sometimes . I whisper back Use your inside voice please ! That works for about 2 minutes .

It's because they're so excitable.
