If a song is not available on any karaoke disc you have two options. Pay to have a CDG track created which means the creation of a backing track and the compilation with lyrics to create the completed track. Would cost in excess of $100.00 per song.
The second option would be to obtain the right software and create your own CDG tracks. The process consists of reducing the lead vocals of a standard audio track, adding the lyrics in sync with the music, and recording the final output to a CDR.

(1) Normally you can't. Each and every song is a licensed product and money is paid to the "owner" of the song. So not all songs are available. Then they have to remove the vocal only, and then type in the words, and then match the words to the music, and then highlight each word in time to the music. That's why they cost so much.
(2) There are some programs "out there" that can remove vocals from a CD. But all it does is remove the vocals, not give you the "follow the bouncing ball words".
(3) Bands need to start making KARAOKE CD'S as well as regular distribution CD's - then both would be available.
