Is showoff important to run a clinic. im adoctor and a lot of people say that until u dont showoff people will not come to my clinic.my konwledge is good but my clinic is simple,i got an old bike and a 3315 nokia mobile.......do u think i am outdated should i give more style so that people will think i am successful.....do people judge the book by its cover

Disagree COMPLETELY with you have to show off to your patients to be sccvessful; I have been in healthcare 23 years and can guarantee what makes or breaks your practice is now what you drive to work, but how you treat your patients both diagnostically AND personally is what counts. Hey doctor u know the director of the Radio Mirchi Ahmedabad had a handset motorola c115 costing 999. still u Know wht radio mirchi i dont hav 2 describe it to u.. abdul kalam azad were the simple shirt and belt and not suit u know he is the president of india... wht my point of view is its not ur mobil phon of ur simple clinic that matters.. its advertisement that matters.. try to make a strategic advertisement which would attract people to your clinic. well yeah not the furniture but use the latest techology to make ur clinic more attractive.. if u had best of the technology and knowledge u surely will ameliorate.. try it out and feed me back..

Well there is a saying " you fake it till you make it" and it does work. I would say yes in today's world you have to show off.
But it is more important that you also have to be good in your line of business, and friendly & courteous.That is how you get your refferals and refferal is the best advertising you can get for free

let your *inner intentions* shine through in your overall look . people tend to like neat, organized, pretty but not pretentious. if you put on airs, people might suspect that you're trying to hide shortcomings. *let your personality shine through in your aesthetics.* don't be afraid of a little color. sometimes white everything suggests a person lacks creativity. greens and beiges are usually relaxing to the eye. blues too
