clearing internet temps wont help!!!Go to Internet explorer properties -- Contents -- Auto complete & clear every check box & also click on clear passwords & clear searches...Hope this helps...Good luck...

If you only want IE to stop showing previously visited websites, do the following:
1- Open Internet Explorer
2- Click on the 'Tools' tab
3- Go to Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete...
4- Clear the 1st checkmark, labeled 'Web adresses'

with the google task bar there is an option named clear search history which can be found in gmail settings also..
you can even clear it from tool->internet options->temporary internetfiles->delete cookies,delete files

You can delete the history of search bar on ur homepage (whatever it is either Yahoo! or Google) by following this path. Tools> internet options> content> auto complete> clear forms. To stop the generation of history uncheck the box of forms.
You can delete the search history on ur yahoo toolbar this way. click the arrow in the search box. Select options, click clear history. Follow this path also. Pencil> toolbar options> uncheck the boxes of enable auto complete and enable history> ok.
To delete address bar history, follow this path. Tools> internet options> general > clear history > set the number of days to zero> ok.
