The only towel is really grubby and has been found in the past with 'stains' on it from someone who obviously ran out of toilet paper. Do you wash your hands and dry them on the towel or leave without washing them?

Why don't you just move out of Scotland and live in England?

I take the grubby towel, turn the taps on, get rid of the towel.. wash my hands, and either let them air dry or else wipe them on my clothing, because im sure it's going to be alot cleaner then that towel would be...

and as for shutting the taps off...I dont think I would even bother..

Listen - you really know the answer. You just want to ask a idle question. Let me ask you: What did you do in that situation?

You would rather use the towel than your clothes because your clothes were way more dirty? Just asking........

I can't believe I am even answering this, but here I go.
I will wash my hands without touching anything. Then I will shake all the water from my hands as much as possible and wipe it on my hair and comb it.

It is a dual purpose solution. My unruly hair gets some water to tame it and I get to groom myself too. See?

strange question!

if I was concerned about the sanitary condition of the towel, then I would wash my hands and dry them on toilet paper. can't leave the toilet without washing your hands!

No one in their 'right' mind would use a stinky towel. I'm guessing you were in a mens room, so I wouldn't have that problem...lol

I would wash and air dry. Or, I wouldn't have used that toilet in the first place. I've walked out of nasty toilets before.

Wash your hands, but don't turn the the water off with your bare hands. Use a thick wad of toilet paper, or the hem of your shirt. Also don't touch the door handle/knob with your clean hands. Use toilet paper, pull your sleeve over your hand, or use the hem of your shirt.

Wash your hands anyway. If the bathroom is dirty, after you wash your hands dry you hands and use the towel to turn the water off so you don't touch the knobs.

What on earth made you think of that.

I'd leave without doing anything and find another toilet.

Wash without drying them, or go elsewhere.
