I got my period the day I was going to take my last active pill. This is my first pack, so I do not know if this is normal. I read the information for the pill and it says I should've gotten my period days after starting the inactive pills. Is this normal?

I first tried tapas in an out of the way bar in Costa Rica, where the mesero brought a small plate of food with each drink we ordered. The pairings of food and drink were wonderful, and I remember thinking that tapas could catch on back in the islands - once people recognized the variety and convenience tapas offer.

Later, I came to realize that pupus are the Happy Hour versions of tapas.

By eating pupus you can try several different cuisines in one sitting. Have sashimi, pizza, and a kalua pork quesadilla with a pint of porter. Or how about a margarita with ribs, chicken satay, and lomi lomi salmon.

If variety is the spice of life, then pupus are the spice of Happy Hours.

Pupus are perfect for a modern lifestyle, where large traditional meals are less common. Why order a huge meal that you might not be able to finish, or worse, finish a large meal, when your digestive tract wishes you hadn't? In place of consuming an enormous meal, sample a few smaller pupus shared among friends. Like tapas, pupus are communal by nature. So order a pupu to share. If you're still hungry, order more, and stop when you're satisfied. This way you get the exact amount of food you feel like eating, and you wont have a lot of leftovers, which might not be quite as tasty the next day. Plus, there's no aluminum foil swan to tote around for the rest of the evening. Start your next evening out with pupus and drinks at a Happy Hour instead of a large meal. After eating, you'll likely feel a little lighter on your feet and a little less round. And yes you should be concerned

Yes, it's normal. It will take a few months for your body to adjust to the hormones. If after 3 or so months you still get your period (break through bleeding) while taking active pills, you may need to talk to a doctor about switching pills.
