My daughter left her $300 I-pod outside in the rain ... now it doesn't work. Is there anyway to fix these things, it's barely a year old. I had to buy her a new one and I would love to fix this one for myself

Most unlikely, if it was out there for any length of time.

I've heard of people salvaging rain-drenched TVs and audio equipment, if they're very lucky - but the iPod's rear casing is very difficult to remove, and the best course by far is to take it to an Apple centre.

Good luck.
