What is the most Northern Continent?

We are having a debate at school about which continent would be considered the most Northern. Can you help, and provide the evidence?

North America is the Northernmost continent but the Northernmost point on Earth is Kaffeklubben Island, east of Greenland (83°40′N 29°50′W).

Geographically and ethnically Greenland is an Arctic island nation associated with the continent of North America, politically and historically Greenland is closely tied to Europe.

Since we speak from a geographical point of view, then the correct answer will be still North America.

I think North America may be considered the northern most if you take into account Greenland which is supposedly part of North America.

Surely it would be the arctic.....? If it isnt then i think it is Europe, Geographically Greenland is part of America but by Politics and historically Greenland is part of Europe
