Fastest production motorcycle? Tossup between the Suzuki Hayabusa and the Kawasaki ZX-14.

Fastest roadracing motorcycle? Valentino Rossi's Yamaha YZR-M1 MotoGP bike. Especially when Rossi is sitting on it.

Fastest dragracing motorcycle? Larry McBride's Kawasaki. Especially....

Fastest bike, period?

"The Feuling Advanced Technologies special construction motorcycle streamliner streaked across the famous Bonneville Salt Flats November 5, 1997, establishing a history making official top-speed of 332.103 miles-per-hour."

The "Tomahawk" never actually went 386 mph.

There are a couple of production bikes with an artificially limited top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h), due to a "gentlemen's agreement" entered by the major Japanese manufacturers. Suzuki's Hayabusa and Kawasaki's ZX-14 would be the major contenders, though.

THE HAYABUSA is the fastest production bike ever made and i`ve got one , the record stands at 222mph done last month at a bike meet in leed`s in england . most modern day bikes were restricted to 186 mph but are still able to do more than this . then its the zx1200 in second place . FACT !

okay, we are not talking about neither Dodge-Bike which got V-10 engine, nor Y2K with a jet engine. They are not considered as bike-bike. Fastest Bike I've ever seen is the GhostRider's Hayabusa with 500bhp. Take a look at this(a video of ghostrider's hayabusa), it's worth seeing.

if your refering to a stock production bike the toss up is between the hayabusa, and the Kawasaki ZX-14.

Ducati has also released a limited production Desmosedici RR which has a 200hp engine which is pretty sick in ever respect
