The first time I separated was only for 2 months. I went back because he sobered up, but things were not really better, other than for the drinking. Then, the 2nd time I put for divorce then I got him out of the house. It would have been better for him to just get out, instead of us having a few mos. living under the same roof after signing the papers. I tnought we could do it but the sadness, tension and so on get difficult.

The most time separated was 3 months. It gotten a lot better than it was, but we still have issues we are working out.

depends what the factors/situation is, but most of the time putting spoiled milk back into the fridge doesn't work.
