How much money do you spend in one shopping trip? Are you in debt b/c of shopping?

OMG...I am a total shopaholic! However, as a result of becoming in debt due to my habits and choices, I learned how set limits. On an average, I spend $25-100 a week on guilty pleasures. Here are the rules I have set for myself: Do not use a credit card unless I know I can pay it off in FULL by the next billing period. Also, If I can not pay cash or use a check debit, I don't buy it. Perhaps I will save until I can get it another...That has worked for me....I suggest you try this...being in debt sucks and it always takes longer to earn the $$$ to pay bills than to spend...Be careful, but don't rob yourself of a few guilty pleasures....=)

Yes I am in debt because of my shopping. On 'me' shopping (clothes, shoes, purses etc) I spend anywhere from $50 to $200 weekly. But the thing is, even though I have credit card debt, I can afford it. I could pay off the cards if I wanted to, I just spend the money on more clothes. Never said I was smart but there you have it. I love shopping!!!!

I spend up to 300$ , but no more than 500$ in one trip. I hit a few stores , an i end up with Alot of stuff , i'm picky about what i wear. But trust me i'm not one of the people that spend 200$ on one pair of jeans ! Momma just taught me how to shop & save !

OMG...I am a nut when it comes to shopping wheather it's for food, clothing or just for my kids toys. I have to get the latest item that comes out, if it catches my eye and it usually does. I spend about $200.00 a month on clothes for myself but it varies. ...I am picky when it comes to clothes...Do you notice when you go clothes shopping and you have the money, you can't find a damn thing but that week when you don't have the money(cuz you got the lastest toy for your kid) you find everything and you are like "OH *hit"!!!! I bought my son who is only 7 months old the lastest potty time elmo DVD. it just came out end of august. My son is not even close to potty training but i just had to get it. I am a shopaholic!!!!! I am not in debt as i do not use credit cards.When i was a teenager, they gave me my first credit card and i went crazy and i went in debt over it....as a teenager!!!! I had to have a co-signer for everything until i got out of debt so it is not worth it. so no, i do not use credit cards, i use cash only...much safer. lol!!!!

I usually spend about 100 dollars each week on clothes. I don't go over the limit unless I am buying shoes or accessories with my outfit.

i usually spend 200 when i go shopping but thats because i buy namebrand clothing!! i hate offbrand items!!
