No, they do so because they are out of ideas. They follow Murtha's lead and say we should pull out of Iraq now. Then the Republicans put it up to vote and they vote to stay in Iraq. They have absolutely no ideas they ONLY oppose anything proposed by Republicans. They vote to go to war then they vote against it and criticize Bush for going with their votes.

I criticize Bush because I don't agree with most of his policies, plain & simple. I don't care if he's Republican, Democrat, Libertarian or whatever party. It's gone beyond that. Besides Iraq my biggest beef with Bush is his unwillingness to have an open mind. From day 1 it's been obvious to me that he's very partisan and isn't very receptive to ideas that may coincide with his own thinking. That's a dangerous trait for a President to have and I would criticize a Democrat just as fast for doing so.

Speaking of bashing,here's a clue:

A Republican impersonator of me sent me this.

From: Jim W

Subject: hahahahaha

Message: You are probably a *** in San Francisco that sips hot java while reading that free liberal newspaper with all the ads in it because they can't even sell it if they tried. A real man is a construction worker that hates people like you. A real man is a butcher or delivery driver. A real man gets cuts on his arms and face while laying rebar or concrete; or, a man running around in the desert killing evil people that would cut your head off if your fancy pants *** got close enough. A real man loves his country, and god; and doesn't want his family's money going to support worthless people and illegal immigrants. A real man doesn't want to see bums pissing in the street or two bull dykes making out while he is with his family in the park. A real man pays taxes and owns a piece of the American dream

Well.A lot to say and yet nothing to say.

Untrue on all accounts, except the American dream part, which the Democrats believe is for everyone, not just the elite few,as Republicans do.

A real man does not smear anyone in the name of his "god".

THIS is what the Republican Party is at this stage.

I wish him luck in finding the help he needs

Well, Yes, but that's half of it. it's all so some of his reactions and actions in this time of crisis for "our" country (notice I said our country and not his country). His first mistake was sitting on his bum with a vacant look on his face when members of his cabinet first informed him that we had just been attacked. Next was the sneaky way he declared war without going through the proper channels that a president is supposed to. Secondly, it's the way he conducts himself during news briefings and conferences. He comes across like a backwoods, stupid country bumpkin.

No, because we love our country and are patriotic enough to take a stand when we feel our government is being taken in the wrong direction! That used to be what America was all about before the current administration let the terrorists have their way and force the frightened minority into lockstep!

Absolutely and If the Republicans were out of power they would do it to Democrats. They act like spolied children, all of them.
