In this PC non-sexist world, is this even allowed or is it being discriminatory for me to wish to be a Knight and protect the ladyfolk?

I realise some of you dear things could properly batter me anyway and don't need protection, but as an English Gentleman, I feel it coursing through my veins that this is the role I am destined for.

That sounds oh so sweet. In real life it is much better! I am sure you have someone to carry away...
But LOL .... LOTS of takers here I see too!

This IS NOT sexist but rather sexy. You see Ichi, we as women regardless of what 'YOU' women say look for exactly that. I must admit that that daydream would only be a daydream for you kind sir are thousands of miles away. Yes, I could batter you away ... I could hurt you with my mase spray or even surely kick your behind with my self defense tactics but I can guarantee that when my knight in shining armor comes ... I will play that damsel in distress roll. Besides, now a days it would probably look more like I'm walking down the streets with my purse and heels after a long night on the pine strip downtown tumbling from the drinks and laughs, my bag would get snatched and you'd run before me catching the theif and picking me up from the cold pavement nursing my scratches. Yep, I think that would cover it. I'd fall in complete and utter love. Only in my dreams.

I, personally, would love to be swept away by a knight in shining armour. Especially an English Knight. :-) Most girls or women don't care for being swept off their feet or being rescued in fear of being looked at like a weak being. But in some cases, I think we all feel that being carried away by a knight in shining armour would be just amazing and romantic!!!

As long as you are the knight in the shining armour, I would most definitely let you carry me away.... I like the "protected" feeling.

Ichi, that is a most excellent role and I would most assuredly let you carry me away, as long as you also have a noble steed ;)
