How do you get yourself remove from AOL and Yahoo blacklist? My company got blacklisted, but we don't do any spam. We have a number of clients/customers that we email information about our service and on going basis. So any ideas? Many thanks....

Had the same problem myself with 3 different e-mail providers - my ISP, webhosting with Yahoo and webhosting with another company. One had an hourly limit to the number of emails that could be sent, one had a daily limit and the other a limit based on data transfer. Can't remember which was which - I think Yahoo was the daily limit.

I spoke to each of the respective customer services and there was no way round it (that's what I was told anyway) and I ended up having to sign up with an e-mail server which didn't have any limits, the one I used was http://www.aplus.net but there are others.

And no, I wasn't spamming people, it was all to do with fundraising for the tsunami appeal and we had to send about 10,000 e-mails a day.

Yahoo and AOL use other blacklist services. At these blacklist services, look for your webhosting service DNS and IP addresses for your mail services. Check your SMPT server address and IP address, that might be on the blacklist services.

Use this from the COMMAND PROMPT to learn about your SMTP address:

PING mail.MyMail.com
(typical response) Pinging mail.MyMail.com [69.13.196.34]

Then, follow the instructions on how to remove your key addresses from their list.

If these addresses cannot be repaired or removed from the list, then seek a different SMTP and/or Website domain name through a different provider.

Try these tools:
For IP addresses:

I had a client that got blacklisted. You actually have to apply for the whitelist to the Postmaster for each one. If it gets denied, then you have to call in (there will be a phone number in the email).
