Shoaib akthar is very expensive if you compare with Bret Lee...And bret lee is an accurate bowler then Akhtar do and a great match winner (An acceptable batsman as well)

Shoaib Akhtar is the better bowler, Brett Lee just has two specialities, yorkers and bouncers, Shoaib Akhtar has got both of those and his classic reverse swing could catch anyone out. But with Brett Lee you know what he is going to do.

i think lee. akhtar's line isn't good. but don't forget he is the fastest bowler and lee is cuter and also a fast bowler,almost like akhtar. akhtar has been getiing many wickets lately, so i think both of them are equal when it comes to choosing a better bowler.

those ppl who r saying akhtar is moe wxpensive must go n check records....infact b lee is among those 4 bowlers..who hav gone for more than 70 runs in 10 ovrs of an OI 5 times....shoaib's economy is much btter...and he is much faster..and yes he has more varieties....and someone said akhtar hasnt won matces for pakistan...he must have not seen crkt for long now!!! akhtar is far better than lee

Shoaib Akhtar definitely, he is now a different bowler altogether a few months ago he was striving for 'pace' and thats why he was conceeding too many runs and extras, but now as he is concentrating on his line and length more than his speed he is working wonders for Pakistan.

Akhtar i s A looser - he never won even a single match - ok he got a few wickets - But i bet you in a few days it will be over - 2 -3 -4 matches.
but LEE IS mAtCh WiNnER .
