To recover ur system u need a Recovery Cd,if u dont have 1 press F8 at windows startup, boot ur system in safe-mode & restore ur system 2 an earlier system check point, the restore option should restore ur system back 2 when it was working fine.if u already tried this u need 2 format ur Drive C & reinstall Windows...Good luck...

Do you mean recovery or restore? Recovery, you must insert the disk that came with your computer. Restore (to restore your computer to setting of an earlier date) go to start/programs/accessories/system tools/system restore once this screen comes up, just choose a date from before the day you started having problems with your computer. Once done, I would suggest you download Spybot Search and Destroy (free but execellent), and Registry Cleaner. These are program which you should run at least every other day. Spybot will stop any type of intrusion and block registry attachment which are probably causing your problems. I would guess from downloads.

Another option is, if you have windows 2000 or later, do this > START > all programs > accessories > tools > system restore and follow the prompts. If you're running more than one anti virus, you HAVE to un-install
one of them !!!! Or you run the chance of having to re-format your' hard drive !!!

Keep tapping F8 key at the start up (on the black screen) you will get the advance options and you can go back when it was running well in the past.

I hope you were looking for this only.

Use the system recovery disk they give you. If you lost it maybe you can get on their website and order another.
