Not Enough of it..its dwindling away with all the building..

it evolved a species of animal who think they are separate from nature and are destroying their environment oblivious to the fact that they will destroy their own life-support systems; and there are no natural preadtors (apart from mosquitos etc) to control their numbers or impact on the planet as a whole.

That has got to be a pretty bad system.

Life spans are far too short for humans! A thousand years isn't enough for one that wants to really live! Some quohogs live for thousands of years why not people?
