I was dating a guy for 3 years then he wanted to take some time off. To me it was the end of the world , we took time off for about 1 month..When we got back together after a couple of months i had to let him go , that month just made me stronger and made me realize that he wasn't the one for me ...
To some people it's the end of there world but you need to be strong and look past that ...
Before dating again i took my time with guys and now I'm happily married to the best man in the world ...

This is a good one for me! My husband and I have been together 2 years and 3 months. Over the 2 year span he broke up with me 4 times! Yes 4! We'd stay broke up for about a month and then he'd want me back and of course I'd o running back. He had just got out of a bad relationship and feared committment. Anyway, the last time he broke up with me I hesitated going back, He wanted me to move back in and I said no for the first time. A few days later he suprised me with a ring and then 2 days after that we got married. The man that was so afraid of committment married me. He said that he realized that one of these days I wasn't going to come back! He actually cried, never had I seen this man cry! Anyway we are married now and our relationship is stronger than it's ever been. I don't know what your situation is but, for me the separation was good for the relationship!

Yes I did. The first time for 3 months and the final time for a year. You can not get the trust back and life will just get worse. I still love my ex but I would never try to go back again. It just is not worth it. I beleive the song said "this is just a long goodbye" You will just get older and take longer to get over it. It is time to move on

Yes, I did it , but he left me for another and I said we have to part.
we were apart about a year, I had no time to find another for I had small kids at the time. we got back together but it wasn´t the same.
we parted again after 8 years but then for good.
now i am in another relationship and it is better.

If the other person talks to you and you tell each everything what you did and the reason why you went apart and work on it
then it should be ok . other then that forget it.

SEVERAL TIMES IN THE FIRST 5 YEARS OF OUR RELATIONSHIP. THE LONGEST WAS 1 MONTH. MY HUSBAND WAS A BACHELOR WHEN I MET HIM, HE HAD COMMITMENT ISSUES. HE HAS SINCE COMMITTED AND WE ARE BLISSFULLY HAPPY, EVERYTHING IS GREAT. HE WAS WILLING TO LEARN AND THAT WAS ALOT OF HELP.
