I have also heard of the wrist test, but it wasn't accurate w-me.
Our family has a tradition of lying on your back and using your wedding ring or a ring you always wear, tied to a string, have someone hold it over your tummy ((still as possible)) and if it went up and down, it was a boy or side-to-side, meant it was a girl. This has worked for generations!
I always dreamed my babies sexes after the 3 month mark, whenever they are fully developed sexually. This has been very accurate for me.
Also, I have heard and agree with the 2 other suggestions here: If you look prego from the back, it's a boy.... if not, it's a girl. And girls cause much worse morning sickness, I think bcuz of the amount of estrogen hormone in your body, it's like overload! I had slight MS with my boy, but only for 3 months ((when tech. he was female, as we all start out)) then it subsided. I had MS w-my girl the whole 9 months and bad!
Conrats & Good Luck!

I craved sweet food when I was pregnant with my girls and this time I craved salt and meat! I thought it was a boy for that reason and it turned out I was right. I also had nausea this time around and not with my other two pregnancies. It's different for each person with each pregnancy so pay attention to any differences and to your intuition. Congrats and good luck!

Morning sickness is one of them....They say if you have morning sickness it means your going to be having a girl and if you dont your going to be having a boy.....With me i had real bad morning sickness for about 3 1/2 months and come to find out on August 15 when i went in for a ultrasound i found out what i was going to have, A Baby Girl!!! I guessed that old wives tale worked for me.

I'm convinced that there is no way to tell.
I had horrible morning sickness with my daughter and hardly any with my son. So, I thought maybe that was a true assessment.
Now, I'm 6 months pregnant with my third child and have had no morning sickness at all, and we're having another girl.

NOTHING....everyone said my son was a girl because I "carried in the back" turns out, I just got a big butt........
I will say this pregnancy is totally different than last time so maybe it is a girl. I don't really care.
Studies indicate you may be sicker with a girl due to increased estrogen in the system, this was true for two of my sister-in-laws, and my friend.
My other sister in law told me she had no interest in sex when she had her daughter and was totally into it when she carried her son (thanks for the info....it is my brother she does it with ICK!)

I started gaining weight everywhere besides my stomach,
started craving sweets like ice cream and candy and I was told that these were signs that I was going to have a girl and I did.

I had someone tell me one time that if you looked huge from the back then it was a boy but if you barely looked pregnant then it was a girl.
I never had any special cravings to tell if it was a boy or girl,

There really is nothing that will let you know other than a sonogram. My ob told me that judging by my daughters heartbeat, I was having a boy. He was wrong. Everyone that saw my pregnant belly thought I was having a boy because of the shape of my stomach. I did have morning sickness and was moodier with her than I was with my son, but my hormone level was a lot higher with her, so you can't go by that. I had worse heart burn and a pinched nerve in my back, but she weighed a lot more than my son, so you can't go by that. There really is nothing that will let you know sooner. Sorry.

If you look prettier and your skin becomes smoother, your hair shinier its a girl coz the excess female hormones will make you look good. However if its a boy the production of male hormones will make you look really ugly. Its true, it works where I come form
