What happens when we die. I have always been curious about this answer.

wished I knew what it was like to be receive a Pulitzer for Literature. I have had very small success as a writer, and long to write something truly wonderful, something that changes people, in good way.
I feel it would make the life I have lived meaningful, not just random stupidity.

I wish I knew more about where my people came from. Knowing that my ancestors came from "somewhere in Africa" isn't enough. I feel sad when people can say that they're "Mexican-American" or "Polish-American". What is "African-American" anyway? That doesn't give me any sense of identity. Africa isn't a country. It's a continent made up of many countries and many different types of people.
but that's a topic i could talk AGES about, so I'll leave it at that.

All the old stuff...what great tombes of knowledge were in the Great Library of Alexandria that subsequently got burnt to the ground 2000 years ago? There is so much mystery around the simple things like the construction of the pyramids that we have lost...we all have one foot in the past in terms of culture...I do not want to lose my own sense of history, I want to build on it
