My best friend of 20 years, has for the past 2 years been dating women (the stereo typical lesbians). Previous to this she had, had long term relationships with men. Most of which ended badly.
She has not been faithful to her current girlfriend. Each and everytime she strays, it is with a man.
She openly admits that she switched to women as she thought that she wouldn't get hurt (silly girl). Do you think that she really is a lesbian, or even bi, or just as the grandparents of this generation would say 'confused'?

Point blank to be real she is gay either way it goes. Yeah she is confused be she is just tying to find her self real quick. As you said she's been hurt so many times she is just trying to do her for a while. Eventually she will get tired of it and go back to the way she was.

If she was'nt curious of tha same sex she wuldnt have gone near a woman! So Id say she was Bi-Curious! I also think shes confused tho.. having had so many bad relationships with men,its no wonder shes decided 2 bat tha other side! I think she jus wants some affection and someone 2 love her but feels shes looking in all tha wrong places! Why not take her out one night this week and jus have a fun girlie night~no lookin for men or women,jus strictly for a good night out! Take her mind off tha fact she seems 2 think she needs a man or woman and she'll eventually find what shes looking for!

Sounds like confused bi-curious, I had a friend like that once had hard times with men and decided she up and wanted to be with a chick. I just said ok, then.....well about 3 mo later she ended up pregnant and I know its not the girls! LMAO! Any way if she isnt serious in the current relationship she probably wont stick with the ladies for too long!

does not matter what I think.If she is happy being bi the nfine if she wants to be with either sex fine also.It is her life andshe has to be responcible for it.her choice , you either accept it or stay away from her.
You are the one who seems broken up about her unfaithfullness more then anyone else.I understand it troubles you that she does that but let her know it bugs you and if you are asked by her lover if you know , then you can say what you think is best.I would just let her know you do not approve and that you would not cover her backside if she gets in a jam.

Most likely she's just "confused. Thing is, she resorted to women to try to avoid the problems she had with men; her bisexual behavior might not have transpired if it wasn't for the bad breakups. If she started dating women prior to the bad breakups then I could label her as bisexual; however, since she's cheating on her girlfriends with men, I think this is just a phase.
