Thanks a lot, but I think it was quiet the time to finally find some peace in this forum, don't you think so? It's right to accept the loss and to congratulate the winner, the players did it too so why can't we?! France played really good yesterday, they deserved it and it's not worth to talk about referees or this sort of things at this point. I hope we have that kind of piece from now on in this forum.

That is exactly my point.
But this is related to only FEW ppl left in this forum, who probably have no dignity or they do not understand soccer.
Since day one (the Final) those FEW bitter and sore LOSERS, instead of accepting their defeat (honorable on the field) they have started to complain and find puerile excuses attacking ITALY.
It is important to understand that they are just FEW ppl... because the rest of the French supporters have accepted their defeat with dignity and sportsmanship.
Now, their bitterness and their excuses are probably driven by their incompetence, because a reasonable person would have noticed the following important factors:

- Because of internal problems with its own Football Federation, Italy has been "trashed" by FIFA officials & Company in the last few years (some examples are the ref. Moreno in the 2002 WC, Beckembauer comments, Blatter comments, Blatter and Platini absence during the celebrations, etc...) and what the LOSERS in this forum say? Italy bribes FIFA officials! Demented!!!

- France soccer is still recovering for the big scandal in the '90s with B.Tapie... and what these few LOSER in here do? Mock Italy about the recent scandal! Hypocritical!!!

- In the 2006 World Cup the Italian Team has been one of the few teams with lesser fouls than others (check the stats of each game)... and what the LOSERS in here do? Attack Italy for their "dirty" play. Incompetents!!!

- In this last World Cup Italy has shown a completely different way of playing their game: in fact it is the Team with the largest number of player who scored at least one goal. And what is the LOSERS point of view? Italy is dirty, divers, and play only defensively! Again, incompetents about football!!!

- Most of these LOSERS are associating their defeat with the idiotic episode of Materazzi/Zidane, ignoring that the action of those two idiots had a very little influence on the final score. The stupidity of two players is an excuse for these LOSERS to attack and insult Italian fans. Instead of condemning the episode, they are still honoring the stupidity of Zidane. That is reinforced by the absurdity of the punishment given to them (which confirms my first above point) and the LOSERS continue to look at the Final like if it was only the episode happened 10 min. before the end... with 1-1 score. How more INCOMPETENT should they be???

Now, I do respect anyone opinion and it is ok for me to see those IDIOTIC excuses, but I really whish one day this ignorant people will open their eyes and admit that ITALY is the well deserved WORLD CHAMPION!!!

I'd have to say that there were consequences that made the two games totally differ from one another, you can't even compare the two matches. Plus, no underserved foul language allowed in the last one.
You'd have to say that after seeing the French play so well with their evident superiority, that it silences any who would want to come up with excuses.
Bravo for France...

yep, but this wasnt a final, and remember a final means a lot to fans, and anyway, it didnt hurt the italian fans so much because they already have won the final! and there was nothing for them to get angry at, we did because of the Materazzi insulting our hero!

But, i have to say, i was surprised to see peace every where!

so good job italian and french fans, keep it up!

they are commonly very solid and passionate(the followers) yet in certain circumstances they bypass loopy and do loopy issues. as for the nationwide crew, that's because they play protective football which isn't very appropriate to demonstrate screen, fairly boring certainly
