A mind map is the graphic organizer that has a big circle in the middle and smaller circles that shoot off of it. In the center circle, put the title of the book, and the smaller circles maybe put the major events or charcters.
To summarize start with a few sentences that happened in the begining, middle and end of the book.

ask urself after u're done wth the book(s).. a mind map should hv things like these ...
what it is all about?
how it happen?
when it happen?
who was there...?
what's the effects or causes?
how to solve..?
this is just an example.. im doing this kind of mind-mapping in univ....
