I had a UTI when I was pregnant. As long as the doctor knows you are pregnant then there are medications he can give you that is non-harm full. They gave me some sort of pills when I had mine. I took them and it went away, no harm to my baby who is now 3.
The thing is, if you don't take your pills it might progress into something that could hurt the baby. It could turn into a serious infection. If you don't get rid of a UTI you could end up in the hospital. The reason I know this: My mother in law was in the hospital two weeks ago because she could not get rid of hers.

Take the antibiotics! Take all of them that you doctor tells you to.
An unchecked UTI during pregnancy could cause a miscarriage... this is what I was told when I had them and was pregnant with my daughter and I didn't start getting them until I was about 5 months along!
It can't hurt to drink the cranberry juice as well (though, I would recommend the blends, I can't stand the straight stuff). Something that I did and would recommend to you... every morning when I would take my prenatal vitamins, I would take them with a tall glass of cranberry juice. That way, I have a daily dose to help ward off any future UTIs. Remember... do not forgo the antibiotics for the cranberry juice!
I would also suggest starting to take some yogurt every day. The antibiotics that I was given for the UTI cause a yeast infection that also needed to be addressed. If this happens to you DO NOT take anything over the counter without getting the 'ok' from your doctor first!

You need to take them, because you don't want the infection to get any worse. That could be more harmful to the baby than taking the antibiotics, I would think. I would do the cranberry juice, too, though.

If the doctor prescribes them and knows that you are pregnant than take them. He wouldn't prescribe something that would harm the baby. Cranberry juice can help, but can be toxic in high doses I have heard. Better to cure it the way of the doctor.

If your doctor prescribed you the antibiotics, you should take them. I had a similar problem with my first child. I didn't want to take anything that wasn't "natural", so I skipped the antibiotics. Next thing I knew, I was dehydrated, vomiting all of the time, VERY SICK. I went back to the doctor, turned out my UTI turned septic, which could have endangered my baby's life as well as my own. I spent 3 days in the hospital with antibiotics through an IV. Please take the antibiotics. If not for you, for your baby's sake. I'd hate for you to get as sick as I did.
