Divineforge has got it about right. Your browser uses part of the system memory to look through all the web pages stored in the Temporary Internet Files folder BEFORE it looks up the page on-line. Follow his advice and delete the Temporary Internet Files.

But you don't need to increase the storage space allowed for the folder; decrease it, if anything. In fact, you should go to Tools on the Menu bar, select Internet Options and the Advanced tab. Scroll down to the Security section and check "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed". In this day and age, you really don't need static copies of every web page you visit.

Also, while you're in Internet Options, under the General tab, look at the Temporary Internet Files settings. You should be able to tell the browser to "Check for new versions of stored pages" (radio button) "Every visit to the page".

it is "Browser memory" i would believe that's related to the internet caching space. there's a limit storage in ur internet explorer for cookies, history, and online data so on.

hence go to ur Internet Explorer or browser icon there, right click properties, u see the temporary internet files, go into the setting, there u see the limit of temporary internet files storage folder, u can adjust the space, and size limit, if u have the problem, u just clean off all the cookies, history, and it will be fine. if not.. u will have problem surfing online.
