Bush is responsible for the sun too. In the morning he makes it come up making it too light to keep sleeping. At night he makes the sun go down causing us to turn our lights on so his energy buddies get rich off the fossil fuel burning power plants. Its all a big conspiracy, you just have to open your mind and see it.

Then you explain why it is so high. It started to rise when he took office. He says it's because of a larger population. So when he got into office the U.S. increased in size? How is that possible?
Then he says it's the war. His father was fighting the same war. He had burning oil fields and price of gas never went above 1.25.
Plus the oil companies are supposed to be increasing pump prices to offset the high barrel prices, but yet they are making billions in profit. Bush happens to be good friends with all these people.
Bush was also friends with the Enron people and look what those people did to make money. They turned off power in California and said it was due to not being able to produce enough power. Now we know it was a lie so their stocks could go up.
By the way its not democrates that believe Bush has something to do with it. Republicans do as well. The only people who don't believe Bush has anything to do with it are Bush supporters. Those people believe anything he says.
Remember when Republicans thought that Clinton started a war because he wanted to change the focus away from Monica. That was a crazier conspiracy.

Bush plot? Nah, he just gets the blame because he's in office and he has huge ties to the oil barons. This has more to do with price gouging. Do ya find it just a bit odd now that summer is over and an election is nearing that the price of gas is dropping? Coincedence? NOT?

Some of these answers are so idiotic they're humorous. They amount to: "Bush was in office when the prices rose. Therefore, Bush is responsible. I don't know exactly how, because they don't teach economics on MTV."
With competition like that, I'm going far in life.

1) Summer 2000 Gore vs. Bush campaign: gas prices unexpectedly rise. Bush says is the fault of the Clinton administration for not having an energy policy;
2) Bush gets elected in 2000 - gas prices drop;
3) Bush enters Iraq for his own made-up reasons, gas prices soar; Bush blames war, but does nothing to ease the pain for Americans;
4) Gas prices jump summer 2006; Bush says its summer driving season, but, like magic, instead of following the laws of economics that say prices will continue to increase when they have been increasing because the market views it as a continuing shortage, just as Bush administration begins to talk about Congressional elections, prices back down;
5) Bush is from Texas, as are many members of his administration. He has lots of friends in the Texas and Saudi Arabian oil business, who quietly fund his campaign. Both of these groups have seen many benefits ($$$$$) from the rising oil prices.
Does that spell it out clearly enough for you?

The same reason hurricane Katrina, global warming, 911, Enron, and every other future so called crises that happens over the next 10 years will be a Bush plot.
Because he beat Gore and Kerry. (of course, that was a Bush plot too.)

Your actually asking democrats to get a grip on reality, that's funny.
I'm curious myself what kind of conspiracy is going on now, haven't heard of any new ones lately. I guess a earthquake will happen somewhere in this world and of course Bush did it.

Yeah, November elections coming up and the gas price suddenly comes down...I'm sure this is a coincidence. After all, Bush has never used the color coded threat system for his own political good, right?

It's not a Bush plot, it's a consequence of Bush's reckless horrible foreign policies (or does he evan have any?).
