The first thing I think of with a car stumbling and dying at idle is a vacuum leak. Open the hood and listen for a hissing or whistling noise. Carefully run your fingers over rubber hoses and fittings, feeling for a leak. If you have a vacuum leak, chances are that it can be fixed with a $2 length of hose from an autoparts store.

Good luck!

There are a variety of causes for stalling and dying when you come to a stop, and the only way to know for sure is to take it in for a diagnosis. It may be that you need your entire transmission rebuilt or you may just need a hose replaced. Many mechanics will diagnose for free.

Could be a blocked fuel filter. replace the fuel filter, and add drygas to the tank. Also, have you checked the oil level, and coolant level?

You fuel injecter. Your carberator, your intake valve, it could be a million different things. Take it to a garage and have them check it out. THey most likley will put it on the dianostic machine and that will tell you.

It sounds like your ignition module is going bad. If you can remove it from he car it can be checked at most of your auto parts sores.
