I mean, you have to slam on your brakes because they cut out in front of you. Or they back out of their driveway and act like you are not there.

Tell me your stories!
Even if you don't drive, have you been in a car and this has happened to the driver.

I was on my way home from college, the road was pretty empty accept for myself. It was almost dark and I had my headlights on. A car at sideroad was stopped at a stopsign about 500 yards ahead. He waits untill I am almost to him before he pulls out. I had to slam on my brakes to avoid T-Boning him. He stops his car and gets out and starts yelling that young ppl can't drive.

One driver must have not seen my car because he hit it in the back while I was waiting at a red light. A few months later a truck driver seemed to have similar vision difficulties since he almost hit me in the back too and could have killed me had I not reacted fast enough myself and hit the gas to move forward.

And of course people have cut out a few inches in front of me several times. That happens regularly. One driver also got the brilliant idea to move backwards in order to change lanes while waiting at a red light and he hit the front of my car and then drove off. When questioned about it later he said he neither saw my car behind him nor felt it when he hit my car nor heard my horn. My car must have been invisible that day.

HA HA HA all the time! I thoguht having such and enormous car (chevy suburban) people would SEE me but obviously not. Just recently I was driving and this woman on the cell phone just merged right into me I mean INTO me..... I swerved and ended up off the road and hit a sign....NEVER EVEN STOPPED. The woman kept going like she never knew it happened. Luckily me and my kids were ok but I mean come on open your eyes people. It was my first accident ever and I was terrified but it was ok in the end. Car got fixed kids and I are great we're just out $500.00 for our deductible.

Or when I'm driving, & someone busts their butt to pull out from a side road in front of me, then goes 10 mph under the speed limit! Gotta love that!

Actually, I was in a totalled wreck yesterday on my way to a funeral, and the guy said he never saw us; yet, we were the only car on the road and he never hit the breaks before he hit us. Thankfully, he's in jail on his way to prison (already had a warrant out for his arrest and was on something at the time).
