I was on my way out the door, going to work. Good Morning America was reporting that there was smoke coming from the Twin Towers but didn't know what had happened. By the time I got to work the first tower had fallen.

I had been at Work but needed to run to the Bank. I was Listening on the radio that a Plane had Flown into One of the Towers. The Early Reports made it sound like it would have been a small plane like a Cesna. There Was Lots of confusing Information. about the Time They figured out it WAS a JET plane. The Second Plane Hit. My Immediate Thought Was it was some sort of Attack.... and I would Be Surprised If it was the last One. I went back to Work and Told a few Folks. Pretty Soon We were All in our Conference room ( about 90 People including our Owner) Watching The Events Unfold. I remember seeing a replay of the First Tower Falling and Being in Disbelief. I thought I was seeing yet another replay when I notice the Word (live) in the Bottom corner and realized that the second tower was coming down. you talk about sinking feelings and Lumps in the throat. People Were Praying, Some Were Crying it Was Quite an Experience to See how everybody came together that day. After about 2 Hours I went Home, It was Impossible to Think about work and All I wanted was To be Home With My Kids at that Moment :-s

Yeah, I keep in techniques! i'm from the united kingdom, and that i'd in basic terms all started secondary college some days before (i became 11), and we are 5 hours previous to you adult men. I walked homestead to demonstrate screen some thing i'd been looking ahead to all day on television, and there became in basic terms all those products about the dual Towers coming down on each and each and every of the channels. I keep in techniques being distinctly annoyed that my conventional programme became cancelled and at a loss for words that it became being coated on all 5 significant channels, i did not quite comprehend the devastation of the project for some extra hours, even at age 11! i do not have the most acceptable reminiscence contained in the international, yet I do not forget that as sparkling as if it handed off the day previous.

I had the day off of work and had gotten up and turned on the news right after the first tower was hit. I sat in front of the t.v. all day. When they said a plane had crashed in PA, I spent what seemed like forever trying to get ahold of family there; until they finally released the site of the crash. Very scary stuff.

I had a really bad fever and stayed home from school. My foster mother woke me up and told me America was under attack...I thought she was kidding, she does stuff like that, like "wake up the house is on fire," type stuff. But she turned on my bedroom tv, and sure enough, a blatant terror attack on innocent people. Then the second plane hit.

I remember my fever finally broke around noon, but was back later, and then turned into an infection, which became bronchitis. When I got back to school, they still had big screen tv's in the lunchroom all day with the news running.

I was putting vinyl siding on an apartment building, the radio was on,the first reports were of a plane flying into the towers and it was holding up,with the first one ,they thought it was an accident, the second one hit,and we knew it wasn't.the boss needed smokes so I went to the convenience store. When I walked in the TV was on and they were running the pictures of the towers falling. The cashier was just shaking his head and saying over and over they're crazy ,they're crazy........

I was working in a long-term care facility and we were just about to start a meeting. As the chairperson, I decided that 9-11 was more important than anything I could say. We hooked up a tv set and watched the news instead. I wanted to believe it was a 'spoof' but it sure wasn't. What a very scary and sad day in our history.

I was on the freeway on the way to San Diego really early in the morning. We were headed to the Naval Hospital to take my Grandpa for a dr.s appt. When we got there, the security was at High Alert and we almost didn't get in. They had helicopters flying over and it was pretty crazy.

My oldest son was only 2 years old, so we had the TV on Barney of all things. I left the house to get a haircut, and heard on the radio what was going on. I went straight home.
