Definitely Chili. That isn't very good in the summer months.

Stew and chili! I don't know why, but I don't like cooking either one unless it's cold outside! My husband asked me to make him chili for dinner a few weeks ago, and I think I must have looked at him like he was crazy because he immediately said "Oh, never mind." I made it for him though! He doesn't ask for much! Lol!
I always make a big pot of stew on Halloween night. My father did it while I was growing up, and when I started having children, I continued the tradition.

Cowboy beans
bread stuffing/dressing
ham n beans in crock pot
prime rib (usually Xmas)
hot chocolate
deep fried turkey(usually Thanksgivin')
fudge
peanut brittle

Chili for sure....as well as soup beans and cornbread....lots of stews, homemade veggie soup. I love winter time food.
