Stew and chili! I don't know why, but I don't like cooking either one unless it's cold outside! My husband asked me to make him chili for dinner a few weeks ago, and I think I must have looked at him like he was crazy because he immediately said "Oh, never mind." I made it for him though! He doesn't ask for much! Lol!
I always make a big pot of stew on Halloween night. My father did it while I was growing up, and when I started having children, I continued the tradition.

Chili for sure....as well as soup beans and cornbread....lots of stews, homemade veggie soup. I love winter time food.
