Recently I learn there a document on file in public records about my daughter. It says Final Judgement/Family. She lives in another state and has never told me she had to go to court about this. What does this mean?

It means there is a judgment in the family division of the court. Family divisions typically handle divorce, custody, paternity, support, adoptions, guardianships & name changes.

Step 1: obtain the document

Step 2: read the document

Step 3: If there appears to be some sort of issue, discss the document with a lawyer.

It's a judgement against your daughter. In public records of that county, you can go in and read the entire document.

It means the case is over. I am sorry but without more info I couldn't tell you a thing. you might be able to contact someone in the courts and see what they can tell you.

It means you need to remember your daughter is an adult and doesn't have to tell you about things she would rather keep private. Stop snooping and let it go.
