A lot of people are having problems and don't like the new toolbar. You can uninstall it and go back to the older version.
In the upgrade Yahoo! Anti-Spy was replaced with Norton Spyware Check. If you want the older version with Anti-Spy back, click the pencil icon beside the search box on Yahoo! Toolbar, a menu will drop down, click Uninstall and uninstall the new version, then click one of the links below to download Yahoo! Toolbar with Anti-Spy. It will be downloaded to your desktop, then click on it and install it, and don't click the update button again, if you do it will be updated again, and you will lose Anti-Spy.

You can also do a system restore. Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > click System Restore and restore back to a point that it worked. The only problem is you will lose any downloads or changes you made after that restore point.

I suffered the same problem when I updated my Yahoo Toolbar and finally discovered that the original Yahoo Antispy program has been replaced by Norton Antispy. There doesn't seem to be an icon for it on the toolbar. I liked the original Antispy program and thought it was both easy and effective. Not sure why Yahoo changed it. So far, I have no experience with the Norton program.
I still have the original Yahoo Antispy program on one of my computers and am trying to copy it back to my other computers. Not sure this is a good idea . . . but I really did like the old system.

You should've either had a back up program or
software program like Get It Back.. If you don't have either the only way is uninstalling and reinstalling everything and you might get back everything but you might lose everything else so before you uninstall everything install a back up program.. Get It Back is available from
www.dollardaysplus.biz On Special too only $5.00 Reg. $13.75
