i have to prepare an 8 min speech on 'scope of engineering in disaster management' please give me some good points

ok i would suggest doing as much research as possible take the most important bits put them together and practice infront of a mirror and relax everyone feels nervous making speeches and if u mess up laugh at ur self ppl admire that good luck

start by saying " I am so and so, and my new hobby is a Psychic. Ask one individual in the audience whats his dream ? Tell him everything good that he wants to know and tell him he is going to meet a new girl in his life but his phone will not work, he needs to meet her or she marries someone else, what is he going to do in such a disaster?

Use a subject 'like' Katrina--then see what all had to be done to start bringing Mississippi and New Orleans back to their livable state . It will probably be VERY interesting!!!
I said 'like', because maybe that's what your subject is talking about--any disaster that you are interested in...............
If you read enough on it, and ARE interested enough, you can talk all about it, and have people REALLY interested, ya know?
