I thought I was over the previous relationship, but as time has passed I've realized I'm not.

Most people are going to tell you to be honest, but there is something about men they just can't take rejection, ever go to a dance and one guy is dancing and his 5 friends are just standing around making fun of everyone, why, because they want to dance they want to go ask a girl to dance but they can not take rejection, so they stand around being smart a*sses! So your going to have to blend the honesty with bull s*hit to really do it in a nice way! Something like your a great guy, but it is my fault this is not working, I am still in love with my ex boyfriend can't get him out of my heart, you deserve better there are a lot of girls who would love to have a guy like you, it is just me etc! Take all the blame, a good story, you know women are good at it! Good Luck you can do it don't worry be happy, life is short, move on!

Be up-front and hones with your current beau and simply let him know that you do not feel this relationship is working and don't blame it all on him as you have interest elsewhere. Take half of the blame for whatever issues there are in your current relationship and simply sever the ties and end as friends with no hard feelings.

sounds like you just need to tell the turth. We can be friends speech time.Yes he may hate what you say and think you are a pain in the backside.

You should not have got involved with the new boyfriend IF you where not over the last one .

Relationships come and go. Just talk to the guy and let him know its not working.

Just tell him. Let him know it's not working out. If he's an adult and mature he'll be mature about the decission. Besides, he probably knows already anyway.

Be honest, thats all you can be, either way he's going to be hurt, but you need to do what makes you happy, good luck.
