if you add a little more of the solute to the solution and it dissolves then the solution is not saturated
if it sinks( i mean that you can still see it in your solution after mixing it) then your solution is saturated

if u add a lil more solute to the solution and it dissolves it means its unsaturated & u can keep adding more solute till the solution becomes saturated when u add more solute to a saturated solution the solute does not dissolve

Try adding more of the solute to the solution. If it dissolves, then solution is not saturated. If it doesn't dissolve, the solution is saturated.

whether it is unsaturated then you definately can upload extra solute. whether it is saturated then in case you upload from now on solute it is going to crash out and alter into supersaturated. whether it is supersaturated then each and all the solute won't dissolve.
