-A Nation Weeps (Hunt In Peace)-

I remember your kind and comical face,
We treasure you Steve,
For your kind acts of grace,

You loved them Crocodiles,
And cared for them most,
I love you Steve, despite the miles,

And what a shock it was,
You were so young,
It makes me cross,

If my tears could bring you back,
I’d cry you a river, my heart does ache,
Your departure has left one huge crack,

All your fans, we weep,
For such a hero you were,
God rest your soul, and have a peaceful sleep.

We all love you Steve!xxxx

Might be Steve would undertaking larger warning while drawing near all potentially harmful creatures, and not annoying the creatures he needs to view. Natural world does not ought to be treated to acquire an up close view, that's what telephoto lenses are for. Steve was once enthusiastic about his work, however put himself unnecessarily in harms approach.....When a good camera could have saved his life. What a shame!

a fine poetic tribute...discovery.com has a section for posting condolences regarding steve's death...............
i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet

He was just a man! He was a guy that you never knew, he is not a god! He died because it was his time to die, more importantly lets hope that he knew his creator God as if he didnt then he will be in hell now.
Try reading your Bible and spending some quality time with the Living God instead of dead men!
