i have gone dial up and it s like stone age so slow i have had cable modem which was fast but very costly and wher ei was living everytime someone tampered with teh cable lines my connection would mess up, and now i have dsl which i am very happy with DSl is the top choice to me for the money

You should get the Internet Connection that is cheaper ( or the one that you can easily afford ) and very stable.
Their Customer Service should be bearable. The Technical Support ( if and when required ) should be excellent.
If it is Cable connection that is available to you( and if you can afford it ) then that is the best. It is rather fast as well.
Dial-up and DSL other connections are not really as good because they are not as fast as Cable Connection. I heard that Asianet ( if you are in India) provides good Cable connection.

I think,u might want to know the cheaper and first connection.
I recommend u to take The broadband connection of bsnl or airtel or reliance.Now which provider is available in Ur place,u take their connection and can choose any plan that meet Ur requirement and economical power also.

depends on usage. if u r moderate user go with mtnl (its fast).
but if u use net all the time get an unlimited net connection from spacenet (reliance that is)
