I only got spanked twice. Once by my Mom when I was 5, for putting a garden hose in the basement and turning it on, because I wanted an indoor swimming pool. And by my Dad, for slamming a door into my cousin's face while playing tag, because I saw it used to great effect in a Looney Tunes cartoon. I was 7 or 8....

My dad never spanked me, it was up to mom to discipline us. She had a temper at times. I was the youngest, and my older brother and sister were ornery. They would blame what they had done on me, and I could never defend myself against them, and I would get a spanking. I don't remember ever getting spanked that I actually deserved, I feared my mother too much. She never hit really hard, but enough to know it was meant. When I got older and had my own kids, I swore I'd never spank my kids. My daughter, however, was a daredevil. I had to keep her in line from getting seriously hurt. She would do things like try to ride her bike in the street when she was small, sticking things in plug-ins. No matter how close of an eye you kept on her, and I had those plastic plug things in the plug-ins, but she figured out how to get them out. She would get up in the middle of the night and get into things like the medicine cabinet....she was always doing things that was hard to keep a handle on her, even her babysitter had a hard time with her antics, she was that clever. I would occasionally spank her, but just hard enough to let her know I met business, and she wouldn't do that trick again, it would be something else. Today she is a beautiful 20 year old, well adjusted, well mannered, but with lots of life and I love her for it.

Yeah I got spanked and thank God I did because children these days are very unruly and run all over their parents. I wish I would act a damn fool in public. My mother would have beat my *** when I got home and she didn't play that s%it when it came to going out and behaving yourself. I think it good to spank your kids just long as you don't abuse them. There is nothing wrong with a whippin when you do something wrong (u never do it again)

I don't think that I got spanked too often but I do remember the time that I was being spanked, over my dads knee and I laughed.
My dad is a fairly gentle man and when I laughed obviously just to make him mad. It did! I really got spanked HARD that time. yikes! learned my lesson from that!

I was spanked by my stepdad all the time for "being sassy" or wearing something he didn't like, or talking to someone he didn't know, eating raw cookie dough from the bowl, making too much noise, or hitting one of my sisters; he treated me like a weak little girlfriend he could beat around whenever he felt like it.
Once though, he spanked me so hard I had bruises, because I accidently knocked over a little urn that had the baby's ashes in it.

I had a very smart mouth *Surprise surprise* So the only time I was spanked was because of something I had said.
Well I was spanked once for hitting my sister in the eye with my Rainbow bright.
The big baby......Rainbow bright for those of you who don't remember was a soft plush doll for the most part. She went on and on about how much her eye hurt and ran and told my Dad. The rule of thumb in the house was that you wanted Mom to deal with you. If Dad had to deal with you it wasn't pretty. He never hit us hard and he seemed to do it out of obligation or revenge for breaking up his football watching. Anyway, I hit her with a soft doll in the eye and I got it with his hand about 4 times. It didn't hurt.
Later that night I told them that she had been playing in Mom's makeup. She had it coming.

I was spanked on a regular basis from as early as I can remember to age 14, I couldn't possibly count them all, but it has to be in the hundreds.

I got a lot of spankings. I cant count them all. I would get spanked for fighting with my sisters, lying, not doing my chores.I never got beat and I turned out okay!

from ages 7-10, i get spanked if i don't study, fail a test or disobey them...my father is hot tempered and he even uses a belt to spank me and my siblings...don't disobey your parents cuz the belt really hurts!
