He may be trying to talk to you, before talk to you, he may wants to be prepared well.Simply ignore, there may be many whom you never noticed.

He might be interested in you but may be that he is a little shy. That's fine by any means. If he is not shy and he is making enquiries about you, it is not a very good state of affairs. He should be bold enough to talk to you.

That means he wants to know you better and maybe like to be friend with you.
The best way to deal with the situation is to confront the guy why he has been inquiring about you so much. If you like him tell him that "you would have appreciated him coming upto you directly and talk" and just walk away. He will run after you....
If you don't like him. Let him inquire it doesn't matter...

hey i understand as i have passed through the same situation. a boy named tony always used to peep at me and ask my friends whether i liked him or not. i came to know this and tried to contact him. he told me his feelings and i understood how deeply he likes me. and guess what we both are coming closer to each other. i suggest u to contact to him and try to know what opinions he have about u. and its upon u whether u agree or not . good luck. siya
